Looking for a spacious, comfortable, and stylish stay in Nashville? Good, we got you!

While Ford and I are away, our home is on Airbnb for vacationers. We like Airbnb because we are able to block off dates for when we want to come back and enjoy our home with family and friends, but as of late nobody is interested in traveling. Understandable.

With the urgent and mass hospital needs everywhere, we are happy to accommodate traveling professionals, individuals and/or families! Interested in our home reno? I'll share the story below!

Our ranch-style home was built in 1948 and occupied in recent years by a sweet elderly couple. Originally, it was a 4 bedroom, 1 bathroom house with a small kitchen, dining room, two-part den, and an open backyard. The house debuted on HGTVs Property Brothers in 2018 and was thankfully NOT the winner of the couple's home search. He, one man’s trash is another man’s, mine and Fords, treasure :)

Shortly after, my mother in law, who is a real estate agent, was showing it to a young couple who also passed on this sweet house with it being such a large project. It wasn’t long that I received an ever so familiar phone call from Ford, “BABE! There is this awesome house, and I have the best vision for it, and I can already picture the nursery for Evelyn and ruby running in the backyard, etc.” Fast forward 6 months later, I love this house so much I can’t stand it. It’s not only the house that I love, but it’s also Ford‘s vision that came alive in this house that makes it so special to me. There are thoughtful touches everywhere, small and large, that make me smile. After the renovations, the house is now 3 bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a large kitchen area attached to the dining and den area with a fenced-in backyard.

So, there my mother in law, my father in law who is in construction, and Ford who, at the time, sold drywall. What a killlller team, I cheered them on from the sidelines and shined when it came to the interior.

This is not Ford's first project but most definitely our favorite. He is great at maximizing all that space can be. He mixes modern and cozy and always seems to create the most inviting homes. There’s a reason we didn’t sell this house before we left to travel. I fully intend on coming back to this beauty. Enjoy our before and afters and other footage. Never hesitate to reach out with questions. And, if you known of anyone looking for a short term rental- send them our way!
